- Perm (the owner and chef) will guide you around the market to view the ingredients, drive you to his home (which has been converted into a cooking school), and teach you to cook - Perm cracks a number of jokes that are so bad they're good! And he laughs really hard at each one himself, which makes it even... More

Richie and Perm were our teachers for the day. We had so many laughs and such a great day. This is my second visit to this cooking school and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves food and loves to cook traditional Thai food. We were picked up from our hotel and headed to the local market to... More

What a fabulous day. Perm and Richard were great teachers and amusing, too. We started in the local market to pick up ingredients that Perm didn't have in his local garden. We cooked over five dishes but it was easy and oh so delicious. Make sure you come hungry. After the class ended Perm offered to take us where ever... More

What a lovely time we had cooking with Perm. My only regret is that we only did the half day evening course. As it happened we had eaten out the night before going on this course and I can honesty say the food we prepared was at least as good as the food served in a pretty good riverside restaurant.... This place lives up to its name. I could stop the review right here and you'd know everything you need to - it's that simple. In my two weeks in Thailand, this was one of the best things I did. I can't recommend this school highly enough. The day starts out with an early morning pick up, followed by a... More

I had a wonderful 1-day cooking class here and really learnt alot. It was fun, inspiring, challenging and a great experience. I especially enjoyed buying the ingredients at the local market

Perm has great passion for food then add his unique sense of humor & fun - the day was a highlight of my trip. Starting in the local market with gems of practical food information, then quick drive to Perm's home & explore of his wonderful veggie garden. All this before you hit the kitchen to create dish after delicious... More

Excellent experience, The day is very well organized but Perm is able to keep that personal "we care" feeling you only get when being hosted by the owner.`

My sister and I booked this expecting to be part of a small group but the other members cancelled meaning we actually got a private cooking lesson from Perm, the owner. Perm took us around the market and gave us lots of interesting facts and information - and even the odd joke or two! The cooking class is quite far... More

We booked last minute to attend this class and were so glad we did. The chef was really knowledgeable, taking us first round the market to give us some tips on buying food which were actually useful. The chef took us through everything stage by stage, including the vegetable garden in the back yard. The food we cooked was really... More
