Suspended in the sky on the 63rd floor of The Dome at State Tower, the Skybar is one of the world's highest open air bars, overlooking a panoramic view of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya river. With such an enthralling ambience coupled with a seductive selection of the finest vintages, beverages, cocktails and appetizers in Bangkok, the Skybar soars as one of the prized destinations in the city. No wonder, the rooftop bar is unanimously accepted as the coolest bar in Bangkok. « less

It's a five star as far as the view goes, but it's a bit uncomfortable for a place to just go, hang out, and enjoy the view. If you are there strictly to have a drink, you are herded to the bar area (no stopping for photos anywhere but in the bar spot, not even on the step up to... More

On top of a luxury hotel in Bangkok with fantastic views across the city. The bar is expensive, but you're not there for the drinks, you're there for the experience. Sunset might be amazing, but we arrived just too late. But even afterwards the views across the city are well worth a visit. The public bar area is over on... More

Views were great. Wish you had a place to sit. People complain about the prices but I think that depends where you are from. I'm from NYC so I am used to paying a lot for drinks but in comparison Thailand is so cheap that it does stun you when you get the bill. HaHa

My husband and I visited here on our last night in Bangkok. The previous night we had visited the Redsky bar on the 55th floor of the Centara Centralworld (which we prefered slightly), and decided to save this to our last night. The views are amazing to say the least. We arrived around 7pm, just after sunset and this bar... More

Spectacular open air bar floating in space and overlooking the city. Very much worth coming just to see and the staff were attentive. We ordered something non alcoholic and just enjoyed the view and the atmosphere as we had a meal planned elsewhere and we were told it was very expensive here.

My husband & I went here this evening for a drink at sunset. After reading the reviews on here we were a bit worried about the dress code as I didn't bring any footwear other than flip flops away with me but we needn't have worried. I wore a linen dress with flip flips (these were designer ones but still... More

Visited the sky bar at lebua recently with my wife on a trip to Bangkok. This type of place will always split opinion but in our view it was fantastic. You enter through a dimly lot lobby and take the lift to the 63rd floor. Opens out to a nice foyer where you are directed to the sky bar. The... More

There is no other word to describe the view when you first step outside. I am happy to pay $20 for a great MaiTai & that panorama. if you've travelled halfway around the world, then you wouldn't want to miss it. We didn't stay for dinner, with main meals ranging from $90-120US. However, it has a great vibe & an... More

Highest outdoor bar in Asia. The views are as good as the cocktails. Venture up to the 62nd floor of the Banyan Tree Hotel to the Sky Bar and Vertigo restaurant (also outdoor). It is recommended to go up about one hour before sunset to get a relaxing seat, and enjoy some drinks as the sun falls on Bangkok. It... More
