Today we enjoyed spending time going to the market and then cooking three amazing and dishes with a great host Angsana! We chose dishes we could recreate in NZ - pad thai , red curry and spicy chicken salad. I couldn't believe we cooked what we ate ourselves. Taste, smell and look was like restaurant style. Highly recommend, particularly going... More

Cooking with Angsana differs form other Thai cooking classes. Due to the small size and the private location of the cooking class you sometimes feel like a student, sometimes like a guest and sometimes even a little bit as a friend of the familiy. Angsana is relaxed and funny, fluent in english and has a thorough knowledge of everyday Thai... More

I'm thoroughly impressed & inspired by the dishes I was guided to create in Angsara's cooking class yesterday. I've lived in Bangkok for the last 12 months, and (just quietly) I rate the food that I created yesterday among my top eating experiences so far! Along with 3 friends, I learned new, simple techniques to create 4 staple dishes: Tom... More

We were fortunate to schedule a home cooking event with Angsana Anderson on short notice because she and her family had just returned to Bangkok after fleeing the floods. There were five of us and we met Angsana and her sister Noy(?) at the On Nut train station at 9:30 am.. We took cabs from the station to the local... More

From the beginning Angsana made us feel at home. She met us first thing in the morning (9AM) directly off the Skytrain at the On Nut station. From there she led us through a fabulous fish and farm market and explained everything as we passed. Once we bought our groceries (included in the lesson fee) she drove us back to... More

We have been fan of learning different kinds of cooking, we were interested in learning Asian cuisine, after our long travels we have been many parts of the world, seeking some interesting lessons of Cooking. Till we find this amazing one, it has really the best we have got into the souks and got our vegetables sharing what what they... More

My fiance and I arranged a cookery lesson with Angsana during our recent visit to Bangkok. She met us near the On Nut train station and we purposely arranged for a morning cookery lesson so that we could go to the market to buy the ingredients and what a fasinating experience it was. The whole process was just brilliant, from... More

k. angsana was a great teacher. she took us to the market and made what appeared to be complicated dishes less intimidating. i had never been excited about tom kha gai before but apparently the home-cooked one is amazing. only thing is -- i have no other cooking schools to compare this to but it seemed a little bit on... We were lucky that we were the only people on the trip so we had a personalised experience with Tam. Wonderful woman, wonderful skills, wonderful experience. Watch her cook and explain, then do it yourself and eat it for lunch.........Fantastic More

I spent the afternoon today cooking with Angsana.. She was so helpful in advance of our meeting, and even nicer in person. Her home is well equipped for the class, and she had everything bought for my recipes in advance. ( I knew there wouldn't be a Market trip as I chose and afternoon lesson). We worked for a few...
