I looked for the tanneries, but it was hard to find. Everytime I asked someone to show me the way, they took me to leathershops in stead of the tanneries, although I told them I was not interested in buying leather. I went to marrakech mainly for a holiday, then i stumbled across a tannery, this was great as i am a wholesaler of leather in london. Earlier this week we visited one of the many tanneries in Marrakech. It was an undelibrate experience as we had decided to see the old town a second time by horse and carriage. As it was our second trip with the same driver he decided to show us the Marrakeshy part of the old town, rather than the tourist side.... more
