Even got to see the bar where Sam Spade worked in the film !!!!! great tour of the huge mosque then to the royal palace and medina. the king was not in residence nor does he actually stay there when visiting the city. There are too many poor dwellings and I believe the fortune that was spent on the mosque...

than the imposing entrance. You can't even get a glimpse of the palace...Driving by and taking 1 picture from the car is enough
The doors are beautiful, but if you travel around Morocco you will see plenty of beautiful gates. It is not worth going out of your way, but if you are trying to fill a day in Casablanca it is worth a stop. You cannot really see much else of the Palace.
Would never have taken the time. At no time are you allowed to take pictures of any person in uniform and the day we were there, they were taking things into the building so we were shoed awat altogether
The architecture is awesome as is the workmanship and the artistry. The inlay, tile and stone work are fantastic.
This place is generally in tour programmes becouse of tour companies need to add places for the casablanca day. I did not have any taste
Travelers are not allowed to aproach when the royal family is there, so, we couldn't see anything from the point they allowed us.
I go to Morocco every year, as my wife is Moroccan. On three of our visits we went to Casablanca and of course we went past the Royal Palace. Unlike other countries none of the Royal palaces are really accessible. The one or Rabat you can see a bit, but this one here is COMPLETELY CLOSED for the public.
