The beach has a lot more sand than Sharks Cove and is a nice place to play in the water. You can snorkel, but the cove is better for that. It is also a little calmer water.

Weather was fantastic, a group of us jumped of the 30ft rock throughout the day. Beach was not that crowded (Wednesday) and the water was great for snorkeling. Amazing the difference you see at this beach between winter and summertime. Almost no waves in the summer and unbelievable waves in the winter. An almost perfect day on the north shore..
My favorite place on Oahu. The day we went the waves were almost non-existent, the water was crystal clear and warm. Very nice beach to take the whole family for the day. Bring inner tubes for the kiddies though, by the third step in you can't touch the bottom. Summer is the time to go unless you are an advanced...

The day we visited, the riptides kept us out of the water and off "Jump Off" rock. The beach park has picnic tables, and lots of shade. The beach is beautiful.
Definitely spend some time at this beach! It's right near the Waimea Valley Waterfalls park. Lots of sand, mild surf, and blue waters.
This was a beautiful beach. The water was warm and the waves were mild, but through you around just enough to have fun! Yes, there were a lot of people on this beach, but it didn't feel crowded like some of the others do. Can easily walk over to the Waimea Valley Adventure Park for a snack or to check...

Immaculate beach, great location, so much better than the Waikiki beaches. Great for a relaxing day.
