Awesome adventure into an underground river which flows through a cave system. Some tips: Wear a quick-dry thin shirt (not cotton) and bathing suit. I had read all the other reviews and knew I had to go - what a great way to spend a day! The short hike which had 3 river crossings was just the start to a water-filled fun day. We took this tour with Carlos Panti he was very good at explaining the history and showing us things throughout the the cave. It was a full day begining with pick up at 8:15 and not back till 4:30ish - lunch inclluded tranditional chicken rice and beans all for $75US each. More

ATM Cave is moderately difficult to visit but well worth the trouble. One can stand next to astonishly well preserved 1500 year old Mayan relics including sacrificial remains with only a marking tape on the ground to mark the pathway.
