I read about this and decided to check it out one morning. Its right across from Coquina Beach at the south end of the island. It probably only takes 1/2 hour or so to do the walk. It goes through mangroves and takes you out to different piers. Theres educational markers along the way so you know what you're looking... More

We walked the trails in under 45 minutes, which was plenty of time to see everything without spending too much time at any observation points. I'd bring a lunch and spend more time if I did it again. More

This was a terrific non-beach experience. The trail is on either a graded path or a board walk and leads through mangroves and up small coastal ridges. We saw egrets, great blues and even a dolphin playing in the bay. Bring your binocs and a lunch and watch the birds and marine life for hours. There are strategically placed benches,... More

Very nice half hour or so walking paths and elevated boardwalks through the southern bay area of the island. Last stop on the free trolly then we transferred for $1.25 to go to St Armands Square. LOVED IT! Coquina is a great place to spend the day. They have showers! More
