The Northern Sierra foothills are slow becoming note worthy with their wines and this winery offers an excellent opportunity to taste some of the locally produced wines from local grapes. While it is not the best winery in the area, it produces some very nice wines to wet your palate.

Most people either don't think about the foothill wineries, or they dismiss them as sub-par. Wrong! We live a short hour drive from the wine capitol of the US, Napa Valley. Goggle this winery. The history, the family, the generosity in charitable giving. Tim makes the very best wines in the area. Forget wanna be newer wineries around. This is by far extra ordinary. Must see, must taste.

We enjoy going to Mt. Vernon Winery. The wines are very nice and the people behind the bar are always friendly. The location is also very scenic and peaceful.

They have many many wines for the price of tasting. We tasted almost 11 wines for a great price. Great setting in the Sierra Foothills. We love the area so much we are going to move there in a few years.
