We had tried their juices while staying at a state park, and wanted to see what else they had. The staff was very friendly, cute shop, enjoyed the experience, will visit again.

We stopped in at 5:40 on a Thursday evening and they allowed us in and did not rush us even though they close at 6pm. We were allowed to taste as many of their wines as we wanted, FOR FREE!! I prefer dryer red wines and didn't expect much but found a couple that I really liked! My friend prefers... More

My wife and I took a Sunday drive for a picnic on St. Mary's Mountain overlooking Altus, followed by tasting sessions at three of the local wineries. After lunch on the grounds of St. Mary's Catholic Church, we took a stroll and were approached by Joseph Post, VP of Sales of the Post Familie Vineyards & Winery who was patrolling... More

We stopped in to take a tour of the winery. The tasting was first. It was good, and the lady pouring was very nice. We requested the tour, and the girls all working in there began saying "I've already done my tour today". No one wanted to do the tour. We were told the two available "that was their turn"... More

This was the first of 3 wineries that a friend of mine and I visited. We had asked about doing a tour and was advised that nothing was running but we could take a tour. However, we would have to wait to do so. No reason giving for the wait. As we were looking around, we happened upon the tasting... More

You get to taste 5 wines of your choice in the new tasting room. The staff was friendly and knew the product. It was busy, so it was a bit slow. We bought a case and would stop by again.

I visited all of the wineries in the Altus area, and found the wine at the Poste family winery the most pleasing to my palate. I don't like sweet wine, and most of the Arkansas wineries create lots of sweet wine. My taste buds were looking for a good merlot or cab. Found great customer service and a good merlot... More

This place has better wine, winery tour and staff than the other wineries in the area. On the day we visited it was a real busy day and we had to wait to do the tastings but one of the staff noticed that we were waiting and offered something to drink while we were waiting. How thoughtful was that !... More

I travel with my family to Altus every year for a festival at a neighboring winery. Last year we began the tradition of visiting this winery as well. I am a fan of their wine, but had never completed a tour of this winery itself prior to that time. I must say that I was very impressed. A member of... More

This is one of four wineries in Altus and presents itself very well. It's worth a day trip to visit all four and grab lunch in town. Altus also has at least two annual wine weekends which are worth attending. The winery itself is well established and produces some drinkable wines. No, not Napa class but improving every year. Tasting... More
