Seeing the sights of a city on bikes are a great way to get around, and Washington DC is no exception. It's flat with loads of things to see. We got a very personal tour as we were the only two on the tour with Phil our guide - the rest had pulled out due to the impending wrath of... More

This was a great ride through the city and seeing sites and natural beauty here in our nation's capital. Phil was a great tour guide and did everything he could to help us enjoy the day. Wonderful history lessons, inspiring vignettes, and mostly just taking in the city in a way I never knew was possible. This will be my... More

I surprised my husband with a gift of a "Bike the Big Capital" evening bike tour. He was a bit skeptical about how interesting it would be since we have lived in this area for many many years. Wow - was he surprised. The combination of the active biking, the knowledgeable guide, the distance and variety of spots covered on... More

Bikes are defiantly one of the best ways to view this big city. Phil our guide was very knowledgable about the city and its history. There are lots of great bike paths around the city. We commenced our tout at Arlington riding past the airport and the Pentagon. Lunch stop at SUNdeVICH was awesome. Just what we needed. If your... More

Bike The Big Capital was the highlight of my DC visit. It was the perfect length and distance to get a nice historical and cultural perspective of the city. And a view that you could never get from a tour bus. I especially enjoyed the secret nooks and crannies our guide led us to (our off-the-beaten-path dinner spot was awesome... More

6 hours, flew by. It was really a lot of fun, and Phil {the guide} really knew alot and was able to answer so many questions. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to have fun and learn a bunch about Washington's history and culture.

We live 35 miles South of DC and we always take different tours mainly because we simply enjoy the city itself. Ours was always bus or walk tour but we opted for a bike tour this time around. This is a 6 hour bike ride, I have to say the ride was pretty easy except a couple of hills, the... More

Friends came into town and signed up for the night tour of DC. We went along mainly to visit with our friends and be outside for a ride. Well let me tell you we saw a side of DC that we hadn't seen in the 11 years we have lived here. It was great fun, we learned a lot and... More

I took off work to take a day tour of DC with Bike the Big Capital. Even though I live locally, I learned so much about the area and had a great time biking through the city. Alex, our guide, was knowledgeable as well as entertaining. All of this while expertly cueing us through navigating DC streets. He always made... More

This was a perfect way to see the sites of DC. Although I have been to Washington many times, it was always on a bus tour and there are still plenty of places I haven't seen. Touring the streets and main attractions of Washington with Bike the Big Capital was so much fun! I am a leisure bike-rider so at... More
