For once, what they say of a Scandinavian tourist attraction is completely true and rather exceeds expectations. It is a unique place. The only poor thing is the tractor loaded with tourists that want to be shuttled to the end of the peninsula. Poor fellows, they loose the best, that is a walk along the beach of Grenen. A must... It was windy and cloudy when I was at the beach, and I think it could be very nice during the nice weather

I raced to get to Grenen before the sun set because I knew the photos would be great. I was not disappointed. Where else can you literally stand with one foot in one sea and one in the other while visually seeing the seas crash into each other? Photos of the sun-lit North Sea countered with the dark and gloom... More

Where two seas clash, this place is something special. Nomatter the wether, the MUST DO thing is to stand with one leg in each of the two seas, having your picture taken hat way. The walk from the parking lot is very easy and quickly done. Remember to stop at the grave of Holger Drachmann :-)

Grenen is the northernmost tip of Denmark and always an interesting place to visit. The shape of the tip depends on the weather and currents. Sometimes you will see seals basking in the sunshine (please do NOT touch the baby seals even if they arecrying. Their mothers will come back for them as soon as you leave). You can actually... More

Denmark has a few must see destinations, this is definitely one of them ... the feeling you get standing on a sunny day having waves from two rolling over each other is unique ... go

Here you can see two oceans meet. It's a bit windy here, but dress well. A lot of interesting historic facts at this place.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We took the Sandworm to the tip. Impressive despite the crowds; we were amused to see a seal watching us as we paddled. We walked back to the car park as the predicted rain hadn't arrived; it was great to walk by the sea and watch the enormous tankers going past.... More

This a day trip from Aarhus for me (a long day of driving) but it was great to see. There is a tractor ride that takes you out to the edge of the sand to see where the waters meet, I don't remember how much but it was pretty inexpensive. Or you could walk out in the sand. There's a... More

Be adventurous and walk out to Grenen on the Baltic side, then across the North Sea beach, and down the trail to the cafe.
