Such a picturesque town. Prices are expectedly high in the town square. Lots of "come to my cafe/bar" people but they are far from pushy. A polite "no" and you are left alone. More

Take the time to wander around the small alleys and visit as many sites as you can. The people are friendly and the area is beautiful. More

The old town of Tallinn is worth spending your afternoon. It looks like a mix of medieval (and some new) constructions painted with pastel colors like in Austria. And there is a special light in this part of Europe that turns things even more beautiful. Try to find the art deco buildings! More

Great little old town, where historical buildings are well presented and it's a pleasure walking through the cobblestone streets (forget the high heels!). Hope it won't move too far towards a medieval theme park in the future. More

Tallinn is lovely town, there is much old buildings, different cafes and restaurants. Also many nice small shops in old town. But, now when Estonia is also having euro, prices have gone up. Especially at the main square, wine class /16 cl/ costs 7 euros! But if you go a bit far from "centre" prices are a bit cheaper. I... More

We've been to many cities in Europe and Tallinn old town is definitely one of our favorites, right up there with Prague old town. Do a walking tour (just get a map and follow the route) - wear good walking shoes cuz its a lot of cobblestone streets. When you get to the view point, you get the panoramic view... More

Despite both Russian and German occupation during the Second World War, scores of the historic buildings in the Old Town are still preserved, have been recently repainted and restored. The innovative styles of the doors on these historic buildings were visually innovative and striking. The whole area lies within easy walking distance and can be seen in a day or... More

I just loved walking through old city, stopping at cafes for coffee and little something and at popular restaurants for meals. More
