The tour was great fun and very intersting. 2 h filled with storys about live in Estland, politics, strange stories and not to forget beautiful Tallinn. I came close to the People here. A free walking city tour starts daily, at midday, from outside the Tourist Information Office. The tour is conducted by students. Our young and sympathetic guide was concentrating too much on her personal stories, and too little on the historical facts: "... and in this stone castle, there were many parties in the 80's, mum told me." But the value is great -- this is after all a free tour! Much better than walking alone. More

If you want to learn more about this charming little city, be sure to take the free tour. Our knowledgeable guide gave us an excellent introduction to the city through historical facts and stories. It snowed big snowflakes the entire time, making the streets quite slippery, but the tour continued! I would recommend this tour to anyone of any age.... More
