Zoltan gave us interesting insights and stories on seemingly everything we passed by on our 1 day tour. Zoltan's flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that my fiancé and I enjoyed our tour and overall stay in Budapest made all the difference. One of the highlights was the lunch we had in the garden of a... More

We spent an amazing day w/ Zoltan. As a result - we left Budapest with a much deeper understanding of its tumultuous past...and the complexity of its current situation. His obvious love for Budapest, his deep knowledge of its fascinating place in history, and his strong feelings about the current political climate - all made our stay there incredibly more... More

"We arrived to Budapest on 2nd of May 2013 and we had just 3 days to get know this beautiful city. After doing some standard city tour and seeing main sights shortly, we would like to see "another" Budapest - to see it the way local people know it. And we must say Zoltan helped us a lot in this... We recently returned from our first visit to Budapest. We booked Rockhoppers for 2 tours, a Jewish and a classic tour of the city. Zoltan was our guide and he was amazing. His story telling interwoven with the history of Budapest kept us enthralled and the time flew. He gave his all to us not watching the clock;his goal was... More

This was a great tour in the Jewish quarter of Budapest. The knowledge of Zoltán, our guide, about this part of Budapest was excellent and he could speak about the history, art and Jewish traditions very interesting and with humour. We met with local Jewish people and heard about their life and their religion. I enjoyed this tour very much... More

I am a 55 years old teacher.I grew up in the jewish neigbourghood.( in those times nobody used this expression). Guided by Zoltan Nagy I got to places where I've never been to before, although I had walked by in my childhood every day. For me as a child the nude angel winged women shapes were weird on the house... More

Zoltan is an incredible guide with a wonderful understanding of Budapest, it's history, and it's people. But what makes him so special is his ability to take you to place you would never find on your own. Our first day he took us to a wonderful restaurant outside the city where he introduced us to wonderful Hungarian dishes we would... More
