The Maritime museum has beautiful artifacts & antiques, as well as nice exhibits about historical sea faring events. I found the old folk-art paintings by sailors especially interesting. The nautical artifacts range from interesting to lovely. The building itself is a wonderful, beautiful thing in it's own right.

There is one room with some interesting Greek and Roman remains well displayed under a glass floor and in cabinets. However this is mainly a museum of Slovenian Naval History. The main criticism would be that there was only some details in English; most explanations are in Slovenian and Italian; they should invest in some multi-lingual audio guides. It only...
