This is considered to be the main church in Ljubljana (Stolnica). The inside is wonderful, but hey, most catholic churches are ;) The most awesome thing about this church, to me, are the doors! But beware - the church has two entries! One from the road, and one from the side of the local market. You should check both doors,... More

The doors are worth a visit. They have such a story to tell and were installed for the visit of the Pope a while back. The interior of the church is beautiful as well. But seriously, check out the doors. More

It's a beautiful old building, but if the fact that it's the main religious institution in the country doesn't bear a connotation for you, you might be let down. As far as Cathedrals go, you wouldn't say this is one, due to it's small size and modest decoration. Again, a beautiful piece of architecture though. More

At least at the time we visited (a Wednesday afternoon in December), you could poke your head in, but not enter the cathedral. More

After seeing so many churched throughout Europe, one could easily get them confused. I will remember this cathedral. This is worth seeing! More

The church has a lot of history, especially the entry doors. You will see the likeness of Pope John in honor of his vist. The interior is beautiful. We were lucky enough to go in the evening to a free concert. The music, singers, and acoustics combined to make a very special memory. More

We came into the church just before mass was to start. We tried to not bother the parishoners but quickly and quietly looked around the Church. It is a beautiful facility! Dont miss the interesting doors on the outside of the church as well. More
