What a wonderful historical center. It has it all: one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, a great Cathedral, the cloth hall dividing the square with years of history. One of the nicest old towns in Eastern Europe. I've been here 4 times and never get tired of walking around this square.
The best thing about Krakow is it's location to Auschwitz! This allows for easy access to the concentaration camps. The historic center of Krakow boasts some classic old architecture - which is excellent if you have not had the chance to compare to Warsaw's, Lublin's, Wroclaw's historic old towns!

Liked the many restaurants and shopping venues and historic structures. Beautiful Cathedral in the square, nice concert performances available. No dislikes.
Kraków has the biggest Market Square in Europe and this only should be enough for visiting it. Its historic centre makes you feel like walking into the history deeper and deeper with each step. If you are lucky, there will be a musician playing guitar on the street - sit in a nearby restaurant garden and listen to his music...

It is very beautiful, with nice atmosphere and architecture I especially liked the park which surrounds it.
Plan your visit to Krakow as soon as possible! You will fall in love with this city. Wonderful old town, original monuments of 1000 years of history, fantastic atmosphare, nice people. The city is active round a clock. Fantastic start point to visit South of Poland
food, beer, reasonably priced, people all seemed freindly, would go again, the main square was brilliant, lots of eating places with entertainment all around
