Not much to see here, the golden mile was a disappointment. The church was nice especially as you see it's architectural progression through the years.

The Prague Castle is immense and impressive filled with historical buildings and a lot of Czech history. we walked up to the castle a number 22 tram goes up but we read that it tends to attract the odd pickpocket.....the walk wasnt to exhausting....the views from the castle were lovely looking over prague. lots of nice bars within the castle district where you could watch the world go by.

Fabulous area with much to see and to do. Approaching it can be a climb up steep street or many, many stairs. Or, do as we did and walk gently up through the Letense Gardens. There are routes from river level from the Stefaniuv and Cuchuv Bridges - the latter connects directly (and quickly) via Parizska to the Town Square.

This is an old city in itself. The history of the castle is fascinating. Too much to explain here in a brief review but take a good guide book to Prague like the DK Eyewitness guidebook and you will easily spend a whole day in the castle.Don't miss the Golden Lane.

The Castle district is the richest historical place in the entire Prague area. Takes an entire day to see the most of the places.
