New Town holds over 650 years of history and architecture, including some of Prague’s most amazing attractions. Wenceslas Square is an absolute must. I also enjoyed Charles Square and walking along the Vltova River in New Town. The cobblestone streets and fantastic pastel-coloured buildings make a great atmosphere. An excellent part of Prague and highly recommended.

A walk in the New Town can begin from the metro station Mustek or Museum.
In Wenceslas Square I’ve admired the St. Wenceslas Monument, the National Museum, the old Hotel Europa. Very close to the National Museum (the new building) are the State Opera of Prague, and an ancient and monumental railways station.
