Entry is free, but you only get to restricted parts of the church. Buy a combo ticket with the main castle and see the whole spendor of the cathedral. Well worth the extra bucks to see the whole thing.

The area is almost always full with tourists, but it is not trouble to me. Cathedral is very big and beautiful from both, outside and inside.Something you shoul visit if you are in Prague...
Nice gothic and istoric church, graves of medieval czech kings are here, stained glass windows beautifull, impressive for czech hero in the church

The cathedral was not the most beautiful I have seen in Europe but definatelynworth worth the small entry fee to go beyond the back of the church. Over run with tourists.....get there early to enjoy both the castle and cathedral
You could either pay to go into this cathedral and see the whole thing or not pay and go to just the front part. I highly recommend paying especially if you are going when there are a lot of people! There was a line to get in, but once you got past that and the front free part, the cathedral...
