We bought a combined ticket so we were able to see the entire church. The tour came with an audio guide which was excellent. The cathedral was very crowded the morning we were there but we noticed that there were much smaller crowds in the afternoon. More

While the architecture was absolutely beautiful, the amount of tour groups we encountered was somewhat overwhelming. Its to be expected for such a grand structure, so if you go (and you're not in one of the tour groups), be prepared to get swept up in a wave of people!!! More
