Located in the Mala Strana area in a small square, a great stop on your way to the castle. Small entrance fee but once inside stunning frescos and ornate decoration true baroque. A definite must visit.
Well worth the entrance fee of CZK70 to view the beautiful interior of this wonderfull church. Photography is allowed with no additional cost, unlike many other places in Prague.
Beautiful church. Lovely chandeliers and very rich decoration. You will love to visit it. The atmosphere inside tells you that you can enjoy several levels of state of mind. Let yourself go and feel happiness for a moment.
behind MaloStran square you should visit this church. Small entrance fe. Filled up with baroque interior. Had no time to climb the tower. It was a wathch towr for the former security police..
High Baroque! Very ornate. I admired the ornate golden pulpit and the larger than life marble statues as well as the art work. Even the wood carvings are very intricate.
If you are on a holiday in Prague, you must visit the church of St. Nicholas just down the road from the Charles Bridge. It is distinctly visible from the...

Situated in the main square, behind the Astronomical Clock, St Nicholas Church hosts classical music concerts every weekend. Per 200 CZK one can enjoy 3 to 5 hours of Mozzart, Bach, etc.
How this Church retains the colouration in its paintings and frescos I do not know, they are so colourful, well worth a visit , pop in before the astronomical clock is due to strike
Despite it being one of the few churches with an entrance fee , it's still worth a visit. This 18th century Baroque church in Prague rivals any of the finest basilicas in Rome. The Rococo interior from the floors all the way to the top of the dome is just spectacular. So much to see inside. Often crowded, but not so crowded that you can't find a quiet spot to stop, rest, and pray awhile. Just beautiful.
