Great place with a rich history. Strongly recommend to take a guided tour to this place to hear some great stories from old times.
The clock is fabulous. Each hour it chimes at the top figures appear at a window amazing. The clock face is a work of art beautiful and very colourful. Gets crowded when it is due to chime so watch out for pickpockets.
full of restaurants. the clock rings every hour on the hour. nice place to hang out and have a cafe or snack, even lunch. prices are affordable. a tourists spot. u can take a ricksha in this place

We waited for the clock to strike and were disappointed .We thought it would be more entertaining than it was. It was one of the highlights for some people as the place was crowded waiting for it.
Any Prague native will tell you this a must do. In the heart of Prague, the Astronomical Clock goes off every hour, on the hour and you get a show from it. Go early, as it does get crowded with people and be ready with camera/video for the clock. You can also go up the Hall tower if you'd like...
