Simply the best olden bridge I have ever seen. TIPS - early morning view of the bridge is free from cars and tourists. - best view of the bridge is actually from the south eastern part of the old city, where you walk down a un maintained path towards the waterfall below the bridge. Ask one of the locals.

An impressive bridge. We arrived by bus from Seville for a day trip and it took us a while to figure out where the bridge was as there is no tourist information at the station. (Head downhill and ask directions for plaza de Toros. This takes you to tourist information) We got to the bridge around 1pm on a Saturday... More

It truly is a wonder. I recommend the walk down El Tajo to get the best views. We drove right over it as we came into Ronda - amazing - so it's definitely still functional!

At the heart of Ronda this wonderful and elegant bridge is not an attraction you would want to miss. For only a few euros you can go inside the central part of the bridge giving you wonderful views of the gorge below and the entire valley. You can also see a very basic exhibition explaining the history of the bridge... More

I wonder how they built this beautiful bridge in a steep valley in the old days. It is especially awesome at night, when the sun goes down and the lights create a lovely mood.

Can make awesome pictures from the both size, from the Plaza Espana are the best we can take it. On to the right side you have a coffee shop with a wonderful terrace and the view is fantastic.

the view from the bridge are unbeatable - the bridge was built in the 1770's when the original one fell down and split the town of Ronda into two - people have committed suicide by throwing themselves of this bridge and people have been executed by being thrown off this bridge. The architecture is spectacular

Take a Hike with a Tour Guide, like Frank (Marbella Marriott Resort can get you his information), to this beautiful Bridge in the Heart of Ronda. Get a stunning view of the surrounding land, take beautiful photos of the bridge and the fortress built ages ago. Wear your walking shoes- flip flops not preferred. But Stunning to see!

Puente Nuevo Bridge is a very impressive landmark of Ronda and leaves an unforgettable impression on any visitor. A walking tour of this very charming small city and the 200 year old bridge is worth recommending to any visitor. There are innumerable cafes and souvenir shops dotting the bridge and allowing the traveller to savour the view while enjoying coffee... More

This bridge was just shocking. The town of Ronda is at the top of a great gorge, offering amazing views of the mountains and countryside in the distance, but even more impressive is the Puente Nuevo (New Bridge) which is clearly quite old. Ronda itself is a nice and scenic town and also boasts the oldest bullfighting ring in Spain.
