There is nothing quite like a clear Australian sky. The sky was thick with stars and the observatory was a treat

“An expected surprise”

For a small observatory this was amazing. We could have stayed all night. I think our host would have been quite happy to show us everything. You are shown a small video firstly then outside to see the stars and planets. You can take as much time as you like and don't feel pressured to move on too quickly.
