A must see for anyone who has a remote interest in anything that defies the laws of gravity. I am a regular visitor to the QAM when I visit from Townsville and I never tire of it. There are two aircraft at the QAM (an ex BPA Metro and Ansett F27) which I used to work on in my early... More

My husband and I went on an rainy day and was quite surprised by the amount of information that was on display. We quite enjoyed looking at the old planes from World Wars to commercial planes. They have quite a bit of history on display from Ansett, TAA and QANTAS memorabilia. I believe they are getting a new airforce jet... More

I went along with my husband who loves attending airshows and aviation museums. I have gone along to quite a few now and although I don't get as much out of it as he does I don't mind having a look myself. My husband thought it was fantastic and said there was a lot of stuff he hadn't seen before.... More

This helped us while away some time during the recent rainstorms at Caloundra. Most of the aircraft are under cover except for the really large ones. I agree with the reviewer who suggested cafe facilities here would be a good idea as we then would have stayed longer. They do sell soft drinks machine but no tea/coffee which would have... More

A hidden gem, needs urgent funding to get these great planes restored and flying! Needs a food and bar outlet perhaps. Volunteer staff are a gem ....

Great experience for young and old alike. We have visited the QLD Air Museum a number of times of the past few years and they always have something new to see and learn about. Their engine run days are the best, you can experience everything the museum has to offer as well as see and hear them run the old... More

Not often do you get the chance to review living history both commercial and military. Great place to spend a few hours and well worth the visit.

This is a great trip to do. They have so much on show here - They just need more space to display it all. There is so much aviation history here it is amazing. Take your time and enjoy.
