If you want to do some proper sailing / snorkelling on the Whitsundays, go here! As it has a limited capacity this is a lot more fun than the tourist traps / booze cruises. We saw some dolphins, a lot of batfish and plenty of coral. I even got to steer the ship for a while :)

We spent one month in Australia last year. We travelled with two kids (12 and 6 yo) and spent 2 weeks driving from Cairns to Brisbane, stopping at Arlie. This sailing trip was definitely one of the highlights of the whole trip, something that our kids still remember vividly when we talk about Australia. Absolutely worth every penny (and Australia... Traveling in the Whitsundays, there are a lot of options. Do you want to go in a speedboat, or relax on a sailingyacht? We chose for S.V. Domino and would make the same choice again. We had a great time on the yacht eventhough we couldn't travel to Bali Hay. Instead Reg ( the captain) brought us to a different... More

Had the most fabulous day sailing with Reg (fantastic person) with so much experience and interesting stories. The day felt like we were invited out with a friend (there were only six on board), my husband even got sailing lessons. THe island was great with fantasitc snorkling and couldn't believe swimming with sea turtles. THe island is just across from... More

We really enjoyed our day sail with SV Domino. Reg is a very experienced sailor (just listen to his stories!) so we knew we were in good hands. The lunch was great and perfect for the hot day - fresh seafood in a cold salad; lots of prawns and mussels. The scenery was wonderful. But the best part was hanging... More

I really enjoy sailing (you don't need to know how to sail, Reggie takes care of everything) and wanted something where we could get up close with the fish. He took us to a spot where the coral is very close to the surface and the coral / fish are easily visible while snorkeling. He went out even when it... More

Highly recommend this day trip! The wind speed was a bit high today but Skipper Reg Eggers is very competent and made sure that our sail was comfortable and relaxing. We spent about 1.5 hours in the water exploring the reef, and the lunch provided was very satisfying (big prawns, mussels, potato salad, some greens, and bread). Reg and Julie... More

It's hard to sum up in under 100 characters our review from our day out with Reg. We had the most amazing and memorable day out (please check out our photos which we think capture some of the highlights). As others have said this experience is really wonderful and not to be missed. Both have us have never sailed before... More

We hired Reg and the Domino for a sailing day while in port at Airlie Beach during a Cruise on the Dawn Princess. We had an excellent time. It was just the 5 of us, my husband, my parents, myself and Reg. I can't remember ever seeing my Dad smile so much. The food was incredible, Julie did a great... More
