Hadn't known of this winery before but they certainly have good wines. Good tasting room, very impressed so took a couple of bottles back to friends in Perth.
We came for a wine tasting with our family and had snack in the restaurant. We sampled wines and beer and enjoyed the view. The gardens were lovely.
Went on our own winery tour and a guided one and this was our favorite spot. Exceptionally good wine and spot on food. The staff had exceptional knowledge of the wines and the building / scenery could not be faulted. Worth allowing an afternoon for a bottle and the tasting plate. Also the brewery there that shares the building serves... More
Went to Saracen for a spot of wine tasting. This part of our visit was great, the bar lady was very attentive & enthusiastic, really made the effort with you. Then we decided to have a bit of food with a bottle of wine we had bought. This was very expensive for the quality & quantity of food. The food... More

Good wine, friendly staff, great service and good food, I had moules frites which went well with both the wine and the beer! Views across the lake from the terrace were great and the kids had plenty of space to run around and play- with a dedicated play area.
A most unexpected pleasure awaited us when we went to Saracen Estate recently, We were greeted and shown to our table which was on the terrace and overlooked this beautiful man-made lake. The staff came prompltly for our order and were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a pizza plus a mixed plate of entrees along with a glass of... More
Loved the gardens and the statues the inside log fire was lovely and welcoming - after being on a wine trip we wanted a coffee but it had closed so only got tea but apart from that everything was good.
The Saracens Estate is a must see. The contemporary architecture and gardens are absolutely stunning. The Estate having the vineyard, brewery and kids corner, is bound to keep all parties happy :-) I am told by a lovely staff member that the entire estate only lies on around ten acres, this limits the amount of wine that can be produced.... stunning winery to visit to sample wines, or even just to have a bit to eat on the decking over looking the lake! just beautiful
The premises are really impressive. A very nice place to have lunch, enjoy the wine and the beer as they are a Winery and a Brewery. They also have a small market with a lot of regional products such as pasta, oils, along with other products that you will enjoy. Their wine was amazingly nice. I was going to try... More
