The conservatory was excellent, the Japanese marmots entertaining and the park a green oasis in the city....
We strolled through here after brunch and spent a good 20mins fascinated by the Monkies. The lawns were well manicured and the flowers in season were in full bloom. Most relaxing.
Pretty place, nice park, good to take a break from walking and shopping here, nice piece of nature with plenty of trees, grass, and space
Beautiful gardens. Immaculately kept. The monkeys were fascinating. My daughter loved it. Parking might be a problem on weekends.
Beautiful green grass. old trees and peaceful, relaxing experience with the option of taking a ride on the little "train" around the park.
I loved the Botanic Gardens. The flowers were blooming and everything seemed to be so well-maintained. Centrally-located, very peaceful and a good place to relax and unwind.
Walked through on our way back to work from lunch. Relaxing way to finish our break before getting stuck into workshops. A little surprised to come across the monkeys and be told they are there to attract people to the park. Felt a little bit like a zoo gone wrong.
This park had it all. Fabulous trees, lots of grass for kids to play, wonderful old features and private spots to sit and contemplate. Fabulous place for a picnic.
The Japanese monkeys were a fun surprise enjoyed by the children (and adults) and the timber design centre was enjoyed by the adults (and children).
