While in new zealand we decided to go to milford sound and doubtful sound because we heard doubtful sound was 10 times better then milford. It costs quite a bit more then milford sound and takes half a day to get there. Although it's cool seeing the electrical power station on the way it's not really worth the extra money... More

Do this small, personal overnight trip instead of the big, impersonal boat run by another company. The four of us traveling together were the only ones on the boat as the other group canceled.
