Looked forward to a stroll to Lygon St and was disappointed at the lack of coffee/cake/icecream establishments. I think Lygon St must shine at night time, but during the day it looked tired and same old! Being Italian myself I love to return to a place where I can hear Italian being spoken in such a relaxed atmosphere. I love returning for Gelato with the children each year at summer time.
