This is a major train station in Melbourne. Very central. Great architecture and meet very interesting people on the steps. It is right next to Fed Square. There is some fast food outlets, toilets and information there. You will need to make sure you have a train ticket, you can't get out without one. Always have ticket inspectors on the... More

This station is just so unorganized. They really need to sit down and sort things out. Firstly there are always teenagers and people hanging around on the steps blocking you from entering or leaving the station. You always miss the traffic lights as people are sitting on the steps and blocking them. Then when you get into the station after... More

You can't go to melbourne and not stand in front of the clocks. It's impossible. The building is so beautiful and iconic and they have a lord of the fries and the churro place! More

One of Melbourne’s most well known landmarks if The Flinders street train station. The building is of the French Renaissance period and was completed in 1910. A local tradition is to meet friends under the clocks, referring to the row of clocks above the main steps. The station itself in is very busy during rush hours. The facility’s are cleaned... More

For every Melbournian Flinders Street Station is a well known icon. Woe betide anyone who wants to tear it down or modernise it. The meeting place "under the clocks" is well known and a busy meeting place. Just across from major tram stops to other parts of the city and Melbourne and just across from Federation Square and the Ian... More
