Not a huge museum, but the quality of the exhibits was excellent. Well worth a half day's exploration.

Another beautiful building - puts our 'architecture' in Perth to shame. Carefully put together and so lovely to see lots of families using the facility (it was school holidays) and lots of kids activities happening.

We have joined many guided tours and if the tour is too slow, we slip away. The one hour tour at this museum turned into two hours well spent. I came to see the special exhibit, Turner from the Tate, and it was special. But I also thoroughly enjoyed the picture gallery itself. There are some wonderful pieces of art there, and the space itself is majestic and warm and wonderful.

Plenty to see - we most enjoyed the areas which covered Aboriginal history - there is a really good café and hsop

I love a museum but this is the worst apart from perths. it's snooze time at its worst. not much to keep the kids entertained and staff that can't really answer a question. gift shop is also putrid.

We weren't at the museum for a long time because we went shortly before closing and therefore didn't get to visit all the exhibitions. However, we all enjoyed 'The Art of Science'. A lovely old building that really does a wonderful job being what it is.... an old museum. Theres plenty to see and learn and of course there often a new exhibition to enjoy.

Was a little disappointed in the Adelaide Museum. Very standard fare, very dark, very smelly, bit claustrophobic. Luckily no charge so worth a visit but don't get too excited and bring a torch.
