My friend Asheligh and I went on the Great Ocean Road tour and loved everything about it! There was great places to see, great food and the people on tour were from all over the world. In fact we were the only Australians and it was great to experience their cultures. Well done Groovy! More

Took the tour with Groovy Grape to four wineries, Bus picked us up from near hotel anddrove about an hour to the first winery (Jacobs Creek), where we were given a brief tour and then tasted several very good wines. Visited tree other wineries for tastings, includin a small family-owned one and a very old one. Best part was that... More

I did the Melbourne to Adelaide 3 day tour, and had fun doing it! The food was basic but good quality (and there was lots of it!). Our guide was fun and a safe driver (on the Great Ocean Road that's a very good thing!). They cater to a young crowd (late teens and 20's), and if you're not a... More

My wife and I did the 6 day Rock Patrol tour from Adelaide to Alice Springs. It was a well setup agenda with the Aussie "no worries" flavor. With this kind of tour, we learned that a major part of your experience is based how good your tour guide is - and we were very lucky to get such a... More

To say our 6 day/5 night trip was brilliant would be an understatement. It was the best tour Ive done in 2 years travelling. We travelled from Adelaide to Alice Springs and saw the most amazing canyons, rock formations and starry skies. And the trip was most enjoyable because of our guide Sam. This guy should set up a school... More

Dear Damoirl, Thanks for your review. Many of our tour guides specialise in and are very passionate about the regions they tour. Sam is no exception and is a true professional in outback touring. Our Rock Patrol Tour is a great way to see the Flinders Ranges, Outback South Australia and Red Centre from Adelaide, with information, fun and adventures... More

Me and a friend went to Kangaroo island 3 days and 2 nights with Groovy grape. We travelled with 3 Germans and 4 Dutch girls (we both are French). This was a very nice experience with nice people from different cultures, language and age (from 19 to 39 years old). The guide Jason knows everything about this island and the... More

I’d booked onto the 13 day Sparkling Chardonnay package to end my month long trip around the east coast as it covered lots of things I wanted to and had heard good things about the company. I had to book it a couple of months ago so I could make sure I got a reasonably cheap flight back home to... More

I had a fantastic tour with Groovy Grapes travelling with a small group from Alice Springs, in the center of Australia, to Adelaide, in the South. We hiked quite a lot, and slept in sleeping bags and SWAGS outside in the desert. We were lucky to have a great group, but we also had an amazing guide called Daniel who... More

Spent a lot of time on transit on the 2-day kangaroo island tour. It is a big island and by the time you add travel from Adelaide to ferry, then the ferry ride, its becomes a lot of time in a confined space. It's a very rugged place, quite desolate so not quite as visually stunning as I expected. Our... More

Dear Travelbec, Thanks for your honest review. From your experience, you can see why we don't operate 1 day tours on Kangaroo Island. The island is 150km in length which proves to be a challenge logistically even for our 2 & 3 day tours, but it makes up for it with its abundance of wildlife and quality of beaches -... More

I just got back from the 6day/5night Rock Patrol tour from Adelaide to Alice Springs. It's been one of the best things I've done in Australia so far. I just loved seeing the landscape change from the coast to the red centre. The landscape around Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon is stunning. You do need to be prepared for... More

Dear Kirsten, Thanks so much for your review. Not sure if you knew, but this was actually the very first Rock Patrol Tour that Penny guided herself! Our tour guides really make an effort to entertain their groups and give regular breaks on those days where there is a lot of driving between attractions. Groovy Grape Getaways prides itself on...
