A good tour if you like wine. My favourite stop was Jacobs creek. The history of the place was nice to know. The guide was very informative and was ready for any questions. Not a long tour but ok. Followed with wine tasting which is always good :) after there was another small vineyard and included BBQ cooked by the... More

Waking up while driving through the splendid Adelaide Hills, preparing for my first main mission in Australia to be completed: feeding and hugging kangaroos! Then whispering to each other while being 200 meters away from each other...But it is all about wine tasting in the Barossa Valley, so up to the biggest and very modern winery Jacobs Creek. The delicious... More

So close to the City and the wine tours are such a "must do" when visiting Adelaide. We enjoyed the very welcoming reception at all the wineries that we visited, and he food was fantastic.

Tour guide Gordon made the trip 5 star...the man is gracious, funny and knowledgeable. I would suggest that maybe morning tea could be ditched since lunch is so soon after...all that German bread at Lyndoch Bakery left little room of the lunch selection at Kaesler Vineyard. The food was okay, I selected the traditional German meat platter but there were... More

This was a real highlight of our trip to Adelaide. We drove ourselves around this stunning area. We. Stopped at a few wineries. Jacob's creek was a favourite. We took photos of the winery as it's very pretty, you can take a short walk around. The wine was reasonably priced and the staff were very helpful.

This is the best place to make your own wine blend tour if you a wine lover...We are invited to the winemakers laboratory to try their hand at blending their very own Grenache /Shiraz and Mourvedre , like penfolds own bin 138.Then they presented the wine to you to take home in a personalised bottle. It took about 2 hours duration... This tour by Gray Line was made for me by staff at the hotel I was staying at. I can honestly say it was absolutely amazing. The driver has great customer skills, was entertaining, informative and funny. Throwing in the occasional ex-wife and mother in law comment. He picked me up from where I was staying and then dropped me... More

The Barossa Valley Wine Tour was a great way to see some of the countryside around Adelaide . We visited Jacobs Creek which was very hectic but in a beautiful setting and then a more informative wine tour at Richmond Grove which also had better wines to taste. Shiraz was excellent!!

Max was our tour guide & gauranteed a "cracker of a day"! Three of the best wineries, superb lunch at a new swanky restaurant, cheese that melted in your mouth, being let loose like a kid in a chocolate factory was topped off by a visit to Handorff to sample German food & beer.
