We booked with Sailaway as their boat was newer and smaller than most of the other companies going to the Low Isles, and did we make the right choice. Under sails for the entire 1 hour trip from Port Douglas was wonderful, albeit a bit bumpy at times. The 15 tourists really enjoyed the commentary and friendliness of the crew... More

The day before we took this cruise in July 2012 my sister and I went skydiving , so this was looking to be quite a boring day to be dragged along to what my mum wanted to do. BOY OH BOY WAS I WRONG, This was one of the best experiences I've had in my life , from start to... More

After doing quite a bit of research into snorkelling tours out of Port Douglas, we decided on a sail to the Low Isles. Tammy and Alex were perfect hosts, we were very lucky and had beautiful weather - plenty to see on the reef, lots of turtles and coral. The island itself is stunning, I recommend a walk if you... We didn't have much time in Port Douglas and have done the reef before but love getting out on the water so it was great to be able to catch the Sunset Sail to enjoy a couple of cold beers out on the cat! Friendly, helpful staff that were great for a laugh. Plenty of space on the boat for... More

We went along on the Sunset sail last week and it was a really beautiful experience. I am a local in Port and was so impressed with the boat, the staff and of course the scenary. The weather wasn't perfect, but it made it all the more fun and adventurous. The staff were very helpful in making sure we were... More

We spent a very relaxing day on the Sailaway II today. Everything went smoothly from the prompt pick up at our accommodation right through to the end of the day. The crew were really friendly and knowledgeable and relaxed and provided all the information you need for a safe and enjoyable day on the water. The guided snorkelling tour was... More

We were lucky to have nice weather for our Sailaway trip (unlike the rest of our holiday) and it was a brilliant experience. The whole thing was very professional and well run, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day (which included taking our 2 year old - who loved every minute of it). We had turns at looking after him... Having been to outer reef on previous visits to PD we decided to try Sailaway this time. The captain Brett and helpers Courtney and Jacqueline were friendly and informative throughout the day. We were the first to the Low Isles that day which made for good snorkelling. The lunch was very nice and as the wind picked up in the... More

From the start it was a fantastic day spent aboard the yacht. We were greeted by our hosts who were friendly and informative. With the smaller number of people on board it felt a lot more exclusive than the larger boats. The snorkelling gear was clean and well maintained. The food including morning tea and lunch was plentiful with a... More
