We chose to do snorkelling with Wavelength because of the small group and the tour focused mainly on shallow water where we were so close to the corals and sea lives. Our tour guides were Marine Biologists so we also learned a great deal about the Great Barrier Reef. They also led us by swimming as a group, dived down... More

This is a great day out on the reef. The Wavelength crew are really knowledgable, friendly and determined that you learn a little while having great fun. If you are super-prone to seasickness then the smaller boat they run might concern you a bit, but for most everyone else the smaller boat is a huge bonus as small groups make... More

We had a fabulous time. Wavelength has small tour sizes, so attention is given to everyone. The crew has an amazing amount of knowledge and very willing to answer questions. Wet suits, flippers, masks, motion sickness pills were all included. Served snacks, drinks, and a wonderful fresh meal. We had 3 separate stops to snorkel, each was better and better.... More

Wavelength is a smaller boat than the other reef tourist boats, but you know what they say about great things coming in small packages! we wanted just a snorkelling adventure and got so much more. The crew are awesome, fun and friendly. The marine biologist is fantastic and informative and the locations on the reef are sensational snorkelling areas. We were... More

Without a doubt, if you are snorkeling, go with Wavelength! The crew was fantastic - very knowledgable and friendly. Very helpful too! I loved that they had an underwater camera that they took pictures and then sold to you at the end of the trip for about $40. We tried to buy a disposable underwater camera there and they talked... The ship only takes small amounts (less than 30). The ship handle rough weather well. They are all about the snorkling. Takes you to 3 outer reef sites chosen for snorkelers, not divers. We had a great time with them and the reef is beautiful. A must see. More

First time for us here in PD - had to visit the reef despite feeling a little anxious being a very inexperienced snorkeller. These guys are amazing - very friendly and cool. Everything provided - no 'extras'. Visited 3 sites; didn't feel rushed or obliged to do everything. This is a dedicated snorkelling operation - didn't have to compete with... More

I recently went on a snorkeling tour to the Great Barrier Reef with Wavelength and had the same fantastic experience as I did when I snorkel led with them 2 1/2 years ago. The crew are amazing, really knowledgable and are crucial to how great the experience is. As are the amazing sites that they take you too. Will definitely... More

We picked this company because group size was 30 max & also good reviews. Staff were very friendly, Pete our captain was a barrel of laughs, John who was an instructor was great especially helpful with 1st timers & Suz the marine biologist was a wealth of knowledge. Only downside was the rough ride out, when you first get on... More
