The whole family had a great time when we took a trip to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. We loved the Mirimar cruise up the river, especially the views including both the nature scenery as well as all of the great houses you get to see. More

This trip along the Brisbane River is interesting and gives some great views of the city and its surrounds. The cruise takes you to Lone Pine Sanctuary along the Brisbane river. There is an excellent commentary that gives you some interesting facts on Brisbane and it's history. It takes just over an hour. The Mirimar Koala Cruise on the Brisbane River shows off the city and bridges to great effect. To include entrance tickets to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary makes this an excellent daytime activity for all people. Rob Treasure, and the other crew of the vessel are most welcoming, and the commentary is very informative. I thoroughly recommend it. More
