We visited Palm Beach, Sydney in May 2013 and saw some of the many and various locations where the Australian series "Home and Away' are filmed. The area is beautiful, picturesque and relaxing. It gives you a sense of calm strolling along the beach and parks enjoying your self.

One of my favourite places in Australia, well worth the drive, however go midweek if you can to avoid the weekend crush. One side is the beach and the ocean, the other side is beautiful Pittwater. Catch a bus from Wynyard.

Palm Beach is a great place to go and visit. There is plenty of grass for picnics and a cute cafe to grab a snack. The only problem with palm beach is the traffic you may encounter as you are going down the hill, try to avoid peak times.

The beaches, the ambience and the views are all really beautiful. A good selection of restaurants is available. Don't even think about buying a property though-very expensive.

Palm Beach is a fair way out of the city but has a lovely beach and also Pittwater, a large beautiful bay and the mouth of the Hawkesbury river. You can catch a ferry to various places on the other side too.

Palm Beach is at the end of the line going up the coast from Sydney. It finishes at Broken Bay. I took the public bus up to Palm Beach. It took me just over an hour but I went through some great beach suburbs. These Aussies live well here, great lifestyle. Palm Beach is quite, serene, peaceful and worth my... More

Palm Beach has the unique location of sitting in between the Pittwater and the ocean. The beaches, the walking tracks, the restaurants, jetties and surrounding waterways create this must see destination in Sydney. It is also the main filming location for the popular Australian TV series 'Home and away'

Only came to the beach as daughter is a fan of Home and Away, no filming the day we went so was very quiet. Sat on beach until it started raining then had lunch in small cafe across the road, the food there was very tasty. When the sun came out again we went for a walk along the beach... More

place where home and away is filmed, this beach is beautiful and golden with such amazing sea and sand. Its about 30-40 minutes out side of sydney. If you have a hire car its worth it. quieter than bondi and much nicer than manly. changing rooms at the beach are nice and clean too, and I think its $3 an... More

A must for Home and Away Fans, if you get there in the morning you can normally watch the filming and see the stars in action' also a must is lunch at Dunes.
