I never expected to walk away from here having learnt so much! This place was great (not many kids - not in school holidays clearly!) and we were able to leisurely take it all in at our own pace. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the exhibits were well done - and lots of things to 'play with' that... More

Just spent most of the day here with 2,9 & 11 year olds. All had a great time. Pretty good value at $70 for a family of five - kids under 4 free! We spent easily 4 hrs there with a break at the cafe for lunch. The staff were awesome and tailored their activities to the ages in the... More

Questacon Canberra is a science and technology centre located on the shore of Lake Burley Griffin. Theres lots to do, see and experience. The facility itself is designed in a way that you enter in and walk up a ramp and then begin to spiral down from room to room which has various different themes and science/technology games to explore.I... Having been to the Science and Technology Museum in Paris, our daughter was keen to see what was on offer at Questacon and she was not disappointed! Great exhibits on every level, finishing with the free fall which she loved!

This is a wonderful adventure of a place, with all kinds of exhibits that make science fun and accessible. It's pitched at kids but as 50 something adults we found plenty to enjoy. Don't worry that there are only children in line for 'the leap of faith': adult size overalls are available. It's best to give yourself plenty of time... More

A great day out or two for the whole family. The interactive exhibits are easy to navigate and very engaging for all age groups. The staff were very helpful though there weren't very many of them about in the exhibit areas to answer questions. The shop was very well stocked and the cafe looked nice though we were lucky enough... More

Our 3 yr old loved the area with the builders/water play/space play areas. The eldest ran around eloping the rest of the centre. Great activity for a grey cold day.

Air conditioning is so hot, suffocating and strong that made my grandson sick to the point of suffocation... had to take him to hospital. Pity it spoiled our trip. We will come back but hope they realise how poorly conditioned the place is.

My son loved the kids room but not much else. He is 3. Because the place was busy we had to book into the kids room. We had to wait 4 hours for a 30 minute session. He completed the rest of questacon in 20 mins so still had 3 and a half hours left before he could enter the... More

Well worth the visit. Have always been fascinated by the ocean depths and this exhibition enlightens ones darkness so fully on the subject. If we'd had more time the remainder of the exhibits would have been tested as there were a lot of adults and children having lots of fun experiencing all that Questacon has to offer!
