The island is a wonderful place to get away from busy life, really peaceful and quiet. I believe there's nothing more relaxing than lying on white, soft beach. The water here is pure, cool. Local seafood is delicious, and tasteful. This place should be a ' must to visit ' in you trip list. Highly recommend to you.

Local tourism advertising does not let you forget that the Playa de Rodas on the Cíes island was called by someone "one of the best beaches in the world" and even though it is more likely to be one of the best beaches in Spain (which is pretty impressive too) it makes a very good full day or weekend visit...

If the weather holds, this place is paradise. The sands are incredibly soft and if yoj care to hike, the vistas are well worth the climbs. No hotels keep the crowds down and you can achieve plenty with a day trip.

The archipelago ‘ de las Cíes’ is situated in the entrance of the Ria de Vigo. There are three islands; Monteagudo, del Farol and San Martiño.
Public access is only allowed on one of the islands.
