We visit probably the most famous Hacienda in Tequila area we spec a lot form them in special knowledge about Tequila and attention from Herradura people we try to visit the hacienda in 3 times before to get in but we can´t because the hacienda are closed for visitors or have a time narrow windows. We visited the hacienda in July and had a great time. The guide was very good and shared a lot of interesting information about the place, the past and the processing of tequilla. This is La Hacienda San Jose del Refugio is a wonderful combination of modern and traditional tequila techniques. The original facility is immaculately maintained and the modern part of the plant offers a chance to really see how special this area is. A wonderful experience if you are in the area - even if you were not a tequila fan...
