Not much to see hear. They look much better from far away. Now, they serve as a passage from upper to lower part of the path around the lakes. Sturdy stairs, not so sturdy fence.

The cave tour took about 45 minutes, and that was at a snail's pace given by a completely disinterested guide at a premium price $100 kuna for two (I think). I suppose if you haven't ever seen a cave before it could be interesting. But we had, and it wasn't. There is nothing remarkable about the experience - I wouldn't...

200 metres.... You can also spot some tiny tiny bats inside.... This is a time filler of a place to see... Unless you are really really enthusiastic about caves, or haven't seen that many caves before, then you will not be all together wow-ed by this one.

Guide was excellent and luckily the tour was in English. Quite a walk from where you park your car, also to the cave entrance, and the 7/8 km road to the caves is very narrow in places.

We found this via our Hotel, its takes a while to get there, we had a good guide, spoke english well, knew his stuff, we have see lots of caves around the world, every case is different for various reasons, the same here...for the sake of an hour ,you should see,
Almost nothing to see there. It's just a normal cave that you pay alot of money to visit. If you've got nothing else to do then maybe you can waste some time there but apart from that(spoiler), they will show you a hole in the ground where nothing was found and some bat excrements.
The big spectacular caves are in Slovenia. The Barac cave is quite small. For amphibian lovers, there are plenty of spotted salamanders around the cave (black with yellow dots), especially after a good rain.
Beautiful caves and the given information was useful. Price was 50 kuna, but for us it was too much, because the guide who was giving the 40 minutes tour wasn't enthusiastic at all. If I should do my job in the same way he did, I think I would be fired in within two weeks.
With a friendly guidance it...

I spent a day at the lakes and was determined to see the caves too as I had seen a few adverts & leaflets for them. They are about a 15min drive from the lakes and are well worth a visit. The tour is guided and available in several different languages, and takes about 45minutes, the history is very interesting...
