This is one of the socalled attractions in Thailand where foreigners by 5 times the price for the entrance fee than thais. The waterfall is so small, that it is impossible to find a place to sit. Waste of your time and money. Just forget it.

We initially went there on an organised tour but it was very crowded. We decided to go back on our last day so the 5 of us (3 children with us) organised the previous evening to hire a private car and driver from the Main Street at Ao Nang to drive us to the hot springs and emerald pool for...

a lovely experience, if you hire your own transport you will get longer and be able to absorb the tropical forest walk, we went on a 3 in one trip which was a full day (*8-30am - 430pm ) but little time in every location, the tiger temple cave is a challenge in its self 1700 steps of all sizes...

We were quite disappointed by the Hot Spring as it is a rather small waterfall full of people bathing in a really hot waterfall when there's 40 degree Celsius outside. I know it's supposed to be good for your health but I couldn't stand it. We only went to the Hot Spring Waterfall because we wanted to see the Blue...

We took a day trip here from Ao Nang (solo- no tour) and it was well sign posted and easy to find (same turnoff as the Emerald pool), free car park, usual food / drink / trinket stalls. We took the stream side walk and you could smell that the water was hot as there was a slight sulphurous odour...

We liked the fact that the springs were hot and contained in small pools. We thought getting in and out of the springs a little tricky because the rocks were slippery. Do not attempt to go in if you are unsteady on your feet.
I visited the Hot Spring as part of a day tour from Ao Nang, which also included the Tiger Cave Temple and the Emerald Pond. Although I preferred the Tiger Cave Temple and the Emerald Pond, the Hot Spring was still very nice and it's worth seeing. It was a great day out. Make sure you take a hat, sun...

It is so cool to spend time and relax in hot spring waterfall. I don't know if it is natural or not, but the waterfalls are very beautiful and warm. It's a pity that they are small, but you can have a great time there.
Really can't see the point of travelling for an hour to sit with a load of sweating tourists in a puddly warm waterfall. Far more appealing was the walkway through the jungle which follows the path of the hot stream.
