The castle itself is interesting, but it's the folk park that makes this site really unique! We were fascinated to learn about baking traditional bread on the hearth, and we watched a man thatching a roof on one of the houses. The staff at the folk park really bring history to life! Should you ever be in the vicinity of Bunratty a visit to the Castle and Folk Park is a must. All exhibits and buildings are very well done. One could easily spend a day there. More
