While in Lisdoonvarna for the 16th March ..waiting for the Patricks day parade to take place ( a day early ) we went to visit the smoke house ..friendly staff but very busy with a bus load of visitors ..looked around the shop really some lovely crafts on sale ..

went out of our way for nothing.couldnt get a coffee and some fish products out of date.not much going on here except get customers in to buy

Smoked fish here is amazing with well-crafted local products throughout the store. Friendly, lovely staff to answer your questions and shoot the breeze.

Food from the heart and heart of the Burren..it doesnt get better than this! support and buy local...enjoy the smells and tastes of thr sea

They have a lovely shop to buy fresh smoked salmon and local honey and jams and a large range of gifts Irish and locally made.

This is a must go when in Clare. I'm home now but just about to sit down to a salmon lunch and Presto! i'm back in the Burren.

The smoke house in Lisdoonvarna is a great place to visit and watch the salmon being smoked, It really is the best smoked salmon in Ireland. They even make up gift hampers to ship home.

I'm a fan of their smoked salmon and mackerel. They do both cold and hot smoked fish, as well as a range of Irish food and craft products. Well worth stopping in. Plus you can learn and see how they do their smoking.

While in the area of the Clifts of Moher, we stopped by the Smokehouse. The video wasn't working (hence the rating for this from 5 star to 4 star) but there were samples of smoked salmon out to try.
