A really relaxing place to visit with so many plants and flowers to see. We really enjoyed our visit here and would defintely return when we hope to visit Kenmare again next year.
No facilities. Drop your 20 euro entrance fee in a box on the garage door as there are no staff. We drove the 23 km from Kenmare and really feel that we should have went elsewhere. While doing the ring of Beara we saw these gardens and as it was a nice day decided to pay it a vist. Really lovely array of flowers, well kept and got some nice ideas for my own garden (or dream of it anyway). Well worth a visit.
The history is fascinating and the plantation amazing However I can't imagine how they can keep the gardens going Even charging 7 euro it must cost a fortune to run a place like this Don't envy the task best wishes D

We went there looking forward to a nice cup of tea before our walk through the beautiful gardens, tea shop... More

Nevertheless it is very pretty. The little fairy... More
