Tucked away, Cotehele is a lovely historic house which really gives you a feel of living in those times (if you were wealthy enough!). went mainly to view the garland in the main hallway, which is always beautiful, but the house itself is not of a great deal of interest, in my opinion. the gardens have the potential to be very beautiful in the spring and summer, maybe i will visit again just for that purpose

Beautiful house, gardens and woodland walks. A wonderful commune with nature. Good children's trails for the house and you can wander freely. Walking down to the quay is a must!
