I really enjoyed visiting Coughton Court. It's a good afternoon out. The house is not huge but I found the staff/guides in each room very knowledgeable and friendly. The gardens are very easy on the eye, my only complaint is that when I ordered a drink the glass that was slightly grubby. Anyway...If you want a nice day out, when... More

this is a very interesting National Trust property. Nice for an afternoon out especially when the sun is shining out.

Two teenagers and a nine year old, as well as us, enjoy the experience of going here. We have been here several times in the last couple of years as we are National Trust members. There is something for everyone, and we love the gardens' variety. The house is wonderful to look around and good for history buffs.

Stories of the gunpowder plot, along with priest holes, are a unique feature of this property. The welcome talk was scheduled to be 16 mins long but was more like 28 - not a problem for us as the volunteer made it highly entertaining. The architecture is stunning and there's a lot to see inside the house. The weather meant... More

Well worth a visit. Beautiful historic buildings in tranquil surroundings. Not really suitable for the kids though

Coughton is stunning when the sun is out. There is plenty to keep you occupied for several hours. Get there close to opening time to get a parking space nearby. If coming from J3 of the M42 do allow extra time on spring weekends or Bank Holidays as there are several popular garden centres en route. When you arrive, book... More

Adult gift-aid tickets are £10.30 and parking is free. Timed tickets operate on busy days, you are then free to wander round at your leisure. Coughton Court's interior is really no better or worse than the average NT property although the volunteers were noticeably genteel and well mannered. Good views from one of the towers. The gardens are a real... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit. I am disappointed that we fell short of delivering our aim of "exceptional service every time". In particular I am really sorry to hear of the quality of food and utensils in the Tudor Restaurant and Tea Rooms. Food quality receives high praise on a regular basis although feedback is... More

Tudor house heavily involved in the gun powder plot, great house with lots to see the gardens were good and the tour guides interesting. A couple of nice churches attached to the house and a great view from the turret!

The guides, as we went round this stately home realy brought various stories to life. The knowledge of the finer details of the home and its residents was exceptional and really had us raising our eye brows. A good collection of art works including all the relatives (two of whom are nick named the uglies). The gardens were also very... More

Visited the house first and it was fascinating, the guides in each room were really informative and enthusiastic. We used our National Trust passes to get into the house so not sure of the charges if you don't have membership. You are able to climb right up to the tower and views from here were stunning. Lots of lovely grounds... More
