After a fantastic visit recently, planning to get another group together to visit again...the lunch in the cafe is so hearty but full of flavour, our lunch deal consisted of either a chicken or beef pie and scones with cream and jam and I could have eaten one of each if I could fit it all in! The beef and... More

Visiting the Yarra Valley for the first time, my family and I were highly anticipating our visit to Rayner's Stonefruit, having been recommended by several friends. We were not disappointed! Len, our tour guide, was very informative and pleasant, and our tractor ride was so much fun. The fruit was the best we've EVER tasted, and the variety of fruit... More

Lovely time with 2 kids at Rayner's Orchard. Private tour/tasting before joining a tractor ride with an older group. Very informative and entertaining-very good facilities.

I took my two young children for a 'farm visit' this last weekend. Whilst, I knew that the main fruit season had ended, the website said that they have a whole new variety of fruit to look at on the farm discovery tractor tours. The kids loved the tractor ride around the farm, and we were shown many of the... More

We were really looking forward to our family outing to Rayner’s Fruit Orchard. The thought of travelling around on a tractor and sampling sweet stone fruits in a sunny orchard excited us, and we had planned this and looked forward to this for weeks. Unfortunately, our day was ruined by the attitude and behaviour of the manager, Len. We’d come... More

I really enjoyed out trip to today to Rayner's orchard, the tractor trip with Len is well worth it. It's really great to see what they are doing on the Farm and sample some of the lovely Apricots and Peaches.

We were visiting the Yarra Valley but wanted to do something that would satisfy the non-wine drinkers as well. We were a little bit worried that it was towards the end of the stone fruit season but we weren't disappointed. Len (the owner) and the farm's 3 pet dogs took us on a very informative and tasty tractor tour around... More

We visited during the holiday period when many of the wineries were extremely crowded. Our best decision on the day ended up being a visit to this orchard - the tractor tour included a huge variety of tastings of peaches/nectarines/apricots (they have plums too but they weren't in season). Len, the owner/farmer/tour guide, helped us all become stonefruit connoisseurs for... More
